| Welcome
The Association for Environmental Health and Sciences (AEHS)
was created to facilitate communication and foster cooperation
among professionals concerned with the challenge of soil,
sediment and water assessment, cleanup and protection. Decades
of experience continue to indicate a strong need for a
consistent and reliable knowledge network for the exchange of
information derived from multiple sources and disciplines.
AEHS is pleased to be able to provide this service since it’s
inception in 1990 through publications, meetings and
collaborative partnerships around the world. AEHS members
represent the many disciplines involved in making decisions
and solving problems affecting environmental cleanups,
including chemistry, geology, hydrogeology, law, engineering,
modeling, toxicology, regulatory science, public health, and
public policy.
AEHS recognizes that widely acceptable solutions to the
problems of environmental contamination can be found only
through the integration of scientific and technological
discovery, social and political judgment, and hands-on
practice. The Association welcomes members to provide input
and energy in activities and thanks them for tireless efforts
for the good of the environment and humankind.
