FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS/CHECKLIST FOR PLATFORM SPEAKERS:

**Deadlines are noted in red**

Preparation/AV

  • We prefer you prepare your talk using Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Presentations are to be no longer than 20-25 minutes, including questions.

  • A laptop computer will be provided in each session room. Please bring your PowerPoint presentation on CD or flash (USB) drive. It will need to be loaded onto the hard drive prior to your session.

  • An LCD projector will be provided in each room. Should you require additional AV equipment (ex. Overhead Projector), please contact the Conference Coordinator prior to the conference.

Registration

  • Platform speakers are offered a reduced registration fee of $195.00.

  • Workshops and lunches may be selected, at your expense.

  • Presenters must register no later than February 6th , 2009.

Other Deadlines

  • Please submit a brief, one-paragraph biography by February 6th, 2009. The biography will be printed in the conference abstract book and distributed to participants as well as utilized by the moderator to introduce you during the session.

  • If you have had revisions to your abstract, you have until February 6th, 2009 to submit a revised abstract. It is not necessary to re-submit your abstract if you have not had any revisions. Please email the abstract to brenna@aehs.com and be sure to follow Abstract Submission Guidelines. Abstracts will be printed and distributed to participants in the conference abstract book.

Miscellaneous
AEHS does not publish formal proceedings for this Conference. However, we encourage you to submit your manuscript to one of the following journals, to be considered for publication as a peer-reviewed article:

  • Soil and Sediment Contamination: An International Journal

  • The International Journal of Phytoremediation

  • Human and Ecological Risk Assessment (HERA)

  • Environmental Forensics: An International Journal
