* The method used must have a method quantization limit less than the action level. If the action level is less than the method quantization limit of the most sensitive standard available method, then the quantization limit of that method becomes the action level.

** The "action level" is the applicable protective concentration level (PCL).  The PCL is established for each individual constituent. PCLs are not established for total BTEX, PAHs, or VOCs.  PCLs for TPH are based on the specific composition of the TPH.
